United States v. Ridenour

September 21, 2006

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PLAINTIFF,
v.
GORDON RAY RIDENOUR, DEFENDANT.

The opinion of the court was delivered by: Magistrate Judge Michael R. Merz

REMOVAL ORDER AND COMMITMENT TO ANOTHER DISTRICT

This case came on for an Initial Appearance pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P. 32.1. Defendant herein was arrested in this District upon a warrant issued upon an order of the Court in the Southern District of California at San Diego, in Criminal Case No. 03cr1630-IEG, Ordering the Defendant to appear and answer four allegations as listed on the Petition for Warrant or Summons for Offender Under Supervised Release. Defendant appeared in open Court and waived proof of identity and a preliminary hearing as to these violations which allegedly occurred in this District. The Court finds that the waiver is knowing, intelligent, and voluntary.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the defendant be removed in custody to the United States District Court for the Southern District of California at San Diego, where the charges are pending against him, for all other proceedings, as ordered by that court.
