United States v. Davis

September 8, 2006

UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, PLAINTIFF,
v.
LAMONE DAVIS, DEFENDANT.

The opinion of the court was delivered by: Magistrate Judge Michael R. Merz

REMOVAL ORDER AND COMMITMENT TO ANOTHER DISTRICT

This case came on for an Initial Appearance pursuant to Fed. R. Crim. P. 32.1. Defendant herein was arrested in this District upon a warrant issued upon an order of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan at Detroit, in Criminal Case No. 02-CR-80883-DT-03, Ordering the Defendant to appear and answer charges that he violated the conditions of his supervised release imposed by the Court. Defendant appeared in open Court and waived proof of identity. The Court finds that the waiver is knowing, intelligent, and voluntary.

IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that the defendant be removed in custody to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan at Detroit, where the charges are pending against him, for all other proceedings, as ordered by that court.
